Hello,
It think there is an interesting parallel that exists between metaficional film and mockumentary film making. You only have to look at "War of the Worlds" to get a sense that the medium which conducts the information can be manipulated to great affect. This also speaks to the way media manipulates actual accounts of "fact". But whre does this leave us when we suspend reality like this? If we want to acknowledge history or make sure things like the holocaust never happen again we can't be left with the bluring of reality into a nebulous fictional account of events or can we?
